Ten Humanist Commandments
TEN COMMANDMENTS FOR A GLOBAL HUMANISM
1- Proclaim the natural dignity and inherent worth of all human beings, in all places and in all circumstances.
2- Respect the life and property of others at all times.
3- Practice tolerance and open-mindedness towards the choices and life styles of others.
4- Share with those who are less fortunate and mutually assist those who are in need of help.
5- Use neither lies, nor spiritual doctrine, nor temporal power to dominate and exploit others.
6- Rely on reason, logic and science to understand the Universe and to solve life’s problems, avoiding superstitions, which numb the mind and are an obstacle to thinking for oneself.
7- Conserve and improve the Earth’s natural environment – land, soil, water, air and space – as humankind’s common heritage.
8- Resolve differences and conflicts cooperatively without resorting to violence or to wars.
9- Organize public affairs according to individual freedom and responsibility, through political and economic democracy.
10- Develop one’s intelligence and talents through education and effort, in order to reach fulfillment and happiness, for the betterment of humanity and of future generations.

The Atheism/Agnosticism Relationship
Great video by Laci/GoGreen18. She explains The Atheism/Agnosticism Relationship very well.
So are you an Agnostic or a Gnostic Theist or are you an Agnostic or a Gnostic Atheist?
I like to refer to Richard Dawkins' scale of belief as seen in his book The God Delusion.
1. Absolutely certain there is a God. Gnostic
2. Almost certain there is a God, but acknowledging a small possibility that there might not.
3. Uncertain, but inclined to believe there is a God,
4. There might or might not be a god. 50/50. Agnostic
5. Uncertain but skeptical of God's existence.
6. Almost certain there is no God, but acknowledging a small possibility that there might be.
7. Absolutely certain there is no God. Gnostic
Islam - The religion of sexism and violence
Rape is not rare to Muslim females. Sadly most do not speak up for themselves or go to the authorities in fear of their lives. If a women cries out to anyone, she is put to death. Wow! That's is sick! The family pet is treated better then these poor ladies.
Honor killings, when a man's fragile ego is crushed either by his daughter just talking to an American soldier or the fact his wife has been raped. The man takes the law (as in the Koran) into his own hands. By either beating or stoning her to death.
Acts of violence and sexism is why myself and others think religion poisons everything.
Get motivated, damn it!
For a couple weeks I was doing good at losing weight. Watching what and when I ate. I stayed away from sweets and sodas. Drank water and ate veggies and fruits instead of junk. But it seems of as lately I've lost the motivation. I know it's up to me. If I really want to lose weight, I got to keep on exercising and eating right. I guess I'm only human, and it's easy to get discouraged. By keeping a blog like this. I hope posting will help me get back on course.
Anyone with helpful tips for a vegetarian who likes her booze. Please feel free to comment. You're advice will be greatly appreciated.

We are a bunch of judgmental fuckers, aren't we!
I'm not at all a saint. I am neither racist or homophobic. But I have misjudged someone based on the bad mood they were in that day or strange appearance. I know it's not right. I do everything I can to have an more open mind about others. I have became friends with those whom I prejudged to find out they're really awesome.
So before you stand back and think so and so is a bitch. You may want to get to know the facts about that individual or even get to know them. That person may not be a asshole, dick, freak, reject, slut, as you were going to peg them to be.
Dear Theists, We Atheists are not those without conseince or morals. We are caring and loving creatures too.

Empathy and compassion! Wtf are those things?!
I think it has became this way all because how we treat our children. Most parents don’t sit down and talk to their children anymore. When they do, it’s often screaming at the poor kids. Most don’t talk to their offspring like they’re people. In my honest opinion young ones are spoke down to like they’re property.
Modern parents live very hectic lives. Most households no longer consist of 2 parents, but a single mother or father. Who often has to work 2 jobs to keep up with the bills. This is a drain on the children and society. Lack of the ability/want to spend time with the youth. Kids are rarely taught “virtues” such as empathy and compassion. Instead they are plopped in front of the tv or computer. I hear money and religion are the roots of all evil. But in my honest opinion the root of all evil is the lack of empathy and compassion.
The Great Double Standard
Most that read this will think the subject is not that big of deal and don’t really give a crap. But that is incorrect and a sad way to think. No matter if you’re Atheist, Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, it should be something you care about. This affects us all. For there to be a more peaceful world. We need to stop placing double standards on our brothers and sisters.
Many religious people want those of other faiths to respect their beliefs. Which in my honest opinion is a reasonable request. One can question the religion and discuss it in a civilized manner. Demonizing or insulting the individuals themselves and attacking them mentally or physically is uncalled for. I have experienced this harassment myself. Online and in everyday life.
A few years ago I followed the Pagan path. I wore an Ankh and a Pentagram. Not a day would go by that I wasn’t questioned, stared at, or harassed for my jewelry. Most of the name calling was done by ignorant Christians that had no clue about Paganism. Individuals that assumed if it’s not the way of Jesus, I must worshipped the devil. Little do the followers with that type of mind set know. Paganism has nothing to do with Satan, Lucifer, or whatever the “evil one” is called. That evil deity is strictly a Christian belief. Back then it pissed me off when I was told I bow down to a little red guy with horns and a tail carrying a pitchfork. Now that I have admitted I’m an Atheist. I find such nonsense funny.
What really grids my gears is when Christians expect the world to accommodate to the way they think. Example, in the 1950’s “In God We Trust” was added to currency and “One nation under God” to the pledge. When those of other faiths or non believers speak up most of these individuals resort to demonizing or name calling of those standing up for themselves. I and others have been called evil for having a different opinion. A lady who calls herself ”LovelyAngel” online and I were having a debate about the Bible. I showed her respect and posted with class the whole time of the discussion. Did she show me the same respect? Nope, she called me childish names like “Demon slut” and “Satan’s whore”.
In short, Theists if you ever expect others to respect you and your faith. You must also be willing to open your minds and respect their views. Don’t burn the heathens, freethinkers, and infidels at the stake and cry that you’re being oppressed when we scream.
You Don’t believe in God?! Are you kidding me?!
Yes I am an Atheist! But there is more to me then just being a godless heathen. I’m a vegetarian that loves animals, sci-fi, horror, heavy metal, and punk rock. I adore my family and friends and the life I live. I’m not here to push my ideas upon others. I just blog to express my opinions on many topics. I will post on subjects from religion, politics, to Michael Jackson.
Thank you for visiting. Love your life and have a great day. Peace, Colleen Chaos
